Abstracts are invited for Oral and Scientific Exhibits at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Melbourne from 4-7 October 2007. The Program Committee encourages the submissions
as these are an integral part of the scientific meeting.

Meeting Information
Since 1984, the firm of Varian has kindly donated an annual cash prize
and a plaque to be awarded for the best paper prepared and presented by
a Student Member in the Radiation Oncology section of the Scientific Program
of the Annual Meeting of the College. This year the cash prize is $1,500
and the winner will also receive a return airfare to the College ASM next
year. The prize will be judged on the following criteria; originality,
hypothesis generation, methodology, amount of work undertaken, analysis
of results, presentation, clinical importance and response to questions.
The abstract should include and indication of the background/hypothesis,
methods/patients involved and results and conclusions.
This prize is awarded to the poster by a Radiation Oncologists which
is judged to have made the most significant contribution to the scientific
program. The prize is valued at $1,000 and is sponsored by the Faculty
of Radiation Oncology
