The Victorian Branch has been instrumental in facilitating
innovative CPD programs for Rural Fellows. Through funding from the Support
Scheme for Rural Specialists, a joint initiative of the Commonwealth of
Health and Ageing and the Committee of Presidents of Medical Colleges, the
RANZCR provides four state of the art programs that give rural and regional
specialists the same opportunities as their city colleagues to meet, discuss
cases and at the same time add to their CPD points. These programs are coordinated
by the Victorian Branch on behalf of the College and the Faculty of Radiation
Oncology: - Case reviews from the Alfred Hospital Radiology Team
- RANZCR Victorian Branch Monthly Scientific Meetings
- Interventional
Radiology
- Videoconference Series "Current Issues in Oncology for
Medical Specialists"
