state image

The Radiation Oncology Trainees Committee was established in 2008 as a Committee of the Faculty Board. It operates under the purview of the Communications and Membership Portfolio and in close consultation with the Education and Research Portfolio and the Faculty of Radiation Oncology.

The Committee has been formed to represent trainees within the College structure and to provide a link between the various boards and committees with all trainees in Australia and New Zealand.

Terms of Reference

The Terms of Reference of the Radiation Oncology Trainees Committee were ratified by the Radiation Oncology Faculty Board in February 2009.

Nominations are called for in July and if the number of nominations received is equal to or less than the number of vacancies to be filled the College Council or Faculty Board will declare each of the candidates elected at its next meeting and any positions not filled shall be filled as casual vacancies.

If the number of nominations received is more than the number of vacancies to be filled an election will be conducted.
