
The Radiology Trainees Committee was established in 2008 as a Standing Committee of the College Council. It operates under the purview of the Communications and Membership Portfolio and in close consultation with the Education and Research Portfolio.
The Committee has been formed to represent trainees within the College structure and to provide a link between the various boards and committees with all trainees in Australia and New Zealand.
Terms of Reference
The Terms of Reference of the Radiology Trainees Committee were ratified by the College Council in February 2009.

Trainees Committee Membership
Membership of the Trainees Committee are elected each year. Nominations are called for in July and if the number of nominations received is equal to or less than the number of vacancies to be filled the College Council will declare each of the candidates elected at its next meeting and any positions not filled shall be filled as casual vacancies. If the number of nominations received is more than the number of vacancies to be filled an election will be conducted.
