Abdominal Radiology Group of Australia and New Zealand (ARGANZ) is an educational and scientific group uniting members of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology (RANZCR) who have a special interest in the imaging and treatment of patients with diseases of abdominal organs.

- To promote best practice, education and research in abdominal imaging subspecialty in Australia and New Zealand;
- To provide a forum for exchange of scientific and clinical information and experience among ARGANZ members;
- To facilitate interaction with national and international organizations of medical and allied health organization
involved in management of abdominal diseases;
- To provide clinical and scientific consensus expertise on behalf of RANZCR for advice and lobbying of state and
federal governments and other organizations involved with policies of concern to ARGANZ and RANZCR members;
These Aims are to be reviewed once a year at the time of annual assembly during RANZCR ASM.

general discussion or debate about abdominal imaging information or specific
topics raised. It is also used to facilitate broader discussion and debate
on draft guidelines, recommendations or policies developed by the Group.
