The College encourages development of capability both in the medical expert arena and the non-medical expert arena, for their members. Capability building requires a systematic management approach to learning and development as an integral part of training, continual professional development and workforce planning.

Developments in Revalidation
The College is keeping a close eye on the revalidation developments in Australia, New Zealand and internationally. Our College's CPD Program will continue to evolve to become a robust as possible so that you are well prepared for any future introduction of revalidation or recertification if and when it eventuates.

In September 2015 the Medical Board of Australia released a report on “The evidence and options for medical revalidation in the Australian context”. This report can be downloaded from the Medical Board of Australia website.
