Radiology Continuing Professional Development Committee

Terms of Reference

The CPD Committee is responsible for:

1. Managing the College's Radiology Continuing Professional Development Program, including:

  • ensuring that the program meets the requirements of regulatory bodies such as the New Zealand Medical Council and Medical Boards in Australia.
  • considering review of the content and structure of the program, as appropriate
  • providing professional input in respect of issues on request by the College secretariat

2. Providing advice to Council and other College groups regarding continuing professional development and affiliated issues, including:

  • advice on membership, participation in, and compliance with the program
  • professional advice regarding issues such as up-skilling and management of under-performing practitioners and credentialing
  • briefings and advice on initiatives across Australian and New Zealand Colleges and other bodies, governments and other agencies, as requested.

3. Reporting to the membership through the College newsletter, website and by annual report.
