Do You Report MRI?!
There have been important changes to the standards outlining CPD requirements for any Radiologist who interprets MR images.
Each Radiologist interpreting MR images must accumulate 30 MRI specific CPD points each Triennium. This requirement will be calculated pro rata for this triennium only. This means, you must claim 10 MRI specific CPD points for the 2006 year if you report MRI.
As before, MRI Supervising Radiologists must accrue a minimum of 60 MRI specific CPD points each Triennium.
These points should be claimed each year on an MRI Self Declaration Form (click here) as provided by the College with your CPD Annual Return Form.
For information on which activities are acceptable for MRI Specific points please refer to the MRI Self Declaration Form which is available here.
The Standards are also available on the website here or for further information on the Standards of Practice & Accreditation Program click here to send an email.
