Fellowship Procedures

Candidates should be aware in order to become a Fellow of the RANZCR that each candidate must have passed all examinations prescribed and fulfilled all training. The following documentation must also be completed:

Completion of Training Form: This form can be submitted two months prior to completion of training. The Supervisor of Training and Branch Education Officer sign this form. A copy of your logbook should also be submitted. The completion of training form is available to download in the Radiology Training section of the document library on the College website.

Once this form is returned and is complete a Fellowship Application Form and Fellow Subscription Notice is sent. When you have completed your portion of the Fellowship application form, you should arrange for your application to be certified by two existing Fellows of the College. Only original Fellowship applications can be accepted. In order to avoid undue delay in your admission to Fellowship and the consequent provision of a provider number by the Health Insurance Commission, you should complete and submit your Fellowship application form and payment as soon as possible.

Once these requirements are appropriately fulfilled and the correct application forms and subscription fee are submitted, the RANZCR will begin to process Fellowship applications. In general, processing of Fellowship applications takes 8-10 working days to complete (this process involves ratification from the Chief Censor, local Branches and the Executive of Council).
