Approval will only be granted for training in an overseas department
by registrars who have successfully completed both the FRANZCR Part II
examination and four years of accredited training in Australia or New
Zealand.
Requests for approval should be submitted not less than 2 months prior
to proposed departure.
Registrars wishing to undertake training overseas are required to submit:
- a letter to the Chief Censor requesting approval of the training;
- documentation from the overseas department outlining the nature of
the training offered; and
- a letter of support from their current Head of Department.
Enquiries regarding the approval of overseas training should be directed
to the Administrator for the Education Board.
