The ProScan Imaging Education Foundation is again offering its 3-1/2 day course on musculoskeletal MRI in Cincinnati. This refresher course will provide attendees with practical approaches to the evaluation of the knee, shoulder, ankle and foot, wrist, elbow, and hip. The format has been enhanced to allow more informal discussion with faculty, greater audience participation, and expanded instruction in orthopedic MRI consultation and reporting.
This course provides 30 credit hours of stimulating continuing medical education in musculoskeletal MRI. The attendee's knowledge base of indications, techniques, interpretive approaches, and consultative language for the major orthopaedic MR examinations will be expanded. Whether you're a novice in MR or a 25-year veteran, any physician who attends this course will be intellectually challenged.
MR evaluation is discussed in detail for each of the six major joints: shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle/foot. These discussions are developed in a practical and organized sequence: basics of anatomy, interpretive approach ("How I Do It"), common diseases, complex abnormalities, definitions and terminology for consultation, reporting methodologies, and specifics of the written report.
