NSW Branch
The Radiology Network of the Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) will continue to promote radiology education in its 2011 Lecture Series in conjunction with The Royal Australian New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), the Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR) and the Medical Imaging Nursing Association of Australia (MINA).
The provisional program for 2012 is set down for the following Tuesday evenings:

Tuesday 15 May (Trainee Presentation Evening)
Tuesday 14 August
Tuesday 30 October
The meetings are held at Kerry Packer Auditorium, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney.

Part II FRANZCR Exam Lectures
Lectures are held every Monday evening at 6.00 pm mainly at Concord Hospital. Please contact Dr Graham Dunn
NSW Radiotherapy Club
The NSW Radiotherapy Club Meetings are organised for NSW radiation oncologists and registrars. Invited visitors from other related professions (RT and ROMP) are also welcome at the meetings.
The meetings provide a valuable networking experience for consultants to discuss issues of current relevance, and they also allow valuable discussion with radiation oncology registrars regarding their training program, training opportunities in the future, and an update on the activities which occur in each radiation oncology training centre. The meetings also provide valuable educational experience, given that one or two guest speakers (not both necessarily from the field of radiation oncology) will present scientific talks.
Attendance to the meetings will be registered and CPD points will be claimed and verified.
The dates for the 2012 meetings are as follows:
- 14 March
- 18 July
- 21 November
Further information will be emailed to all NSW radiation oncology members close to the dates of the meetings.
