RANZCR Branch of Origin 2012 and the Trainee Presentation Events
The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists will again hold the Branch of Origin at its annual scientific meeting, (combined with the AOCR in 2012).
College Branches are currently preparing to host their Trainee Presentation Nights, where the most outstanding presentation will be eligible to present at the Branch of Origin. The National Trainee Abstract Submission Template can be found here.

The event is open to all trainees from years 1 - 5 enrolled in the RANZCR Training Program.
A panel of judges as determined by the Branch will assess the presented papers and an overall outstanding paper will be selected and awarded a claimable prize of up to $1,200 to support the attendance and participation at the Branch of Origins session at the College's 2012 ASM which will be held in Sydney from 30 August – 2 Sept. The winner of this session will be provided with support of up to $5,000 to attend the European College of Radiology (ECR) Conference in 2013.
The event is open to all Trainees in Years 1 – 5, however, trainees in Year’s 1 - 3 are encouraged to consider this an essential part of their learning process for Project 1 and complete the Project 1.
Trainees in the new curriculum submitting abstracts for Project 1 (Years 1 - 3) signoff are reminded that their project must have been previously approved by the Director of Training and submitted to the College for endorsement, Project 1 Prosposal Sumission Form.

NSW Branch Monthly Scientific Meetings - Now Available Online
Recordings of the NSW Branch Monthly Scientific Meetings are now available to view online through the College media site. Just expand NSW MSM in the left hand menu to view all available presentations.
Through the Support Scheme for Rural Specialists (SSRS), rural radiologists and RANZCR members are eligible to claim additional CPD points through the College program.

VIC Branch Monthly Scientific Meetings - Now Available Online
The VIC Branch Monthly Scientific Meetings are now available to view online through the College media website. Just expand VIC Branch Monthly Scientific Meetings in the left hand menu to view all available presentations.
Questions have been created for reflection and individual interpretation and are derived specifically from the Victorian Branch Monthly Scientific Meeting presentations.
Completion of the review questions is voluntary and all information collected is used for administrative reporting only. However a feedback sheet will be provided to participants for information.
