College Council
The College Council consists of 15 Councillors elected by the general Fellowship at large, the Dean of the Faculty of Radiation Oncology and the New Zealand Branch Chairperson. Each Council has duration of one year commencing on 1 January. (Article 9)
Members of Council are directors of the company (the College) and bear all of the responsibilities and obligations of directors generally imposed by the Corporations Law.
Role of Council
The Council of the College manages the general business of the College. It can delegate its powers and authorise committees or individuals to represent the College on its behalf.
Council Structure
Members of Council are elected for three-year terms and are eligible to serve a maximum of three such terms. This section provides information on the composition of Council and the Executive of Council.
