New Governance Structure
From 1 January 2013 the College’s new governance structure took effect, comprising the new Board of Directors and the Faculties of Clinical Radiology and Radiation Oncology each headed by a Faculty Council reporting to the Board.

Board of Directors
The Board has eight  members comprising the President, the Deans of the Two Faculties, the Chairperson of the New Zealand Branch, three elected Fellows and a co-opted person who is not a member of the College. Of the eight Fellows, at least three must be radiologists and two must be radiation oncologists.

The directors of the company (the College) bear all of the responsibilities and obligations of directors generally imposed by corporations’ law.

Faculties
There are two Faculties – Clinical Radiology and Radiation Oncology, each headed by a Faculty Council. The Faculty Councils manage the affairs of their Faculties under delegation from the Board.
