Quality Use of Diagnostic Imaging (QUDI) Program
The Quality Use of Diagnostic Imaging (QUDI) Program is part of the Quality Research and Development Program. The QUDI Program is recognised internationally as a leading source of evidence and implementation projects that aim to improve the quality and safety of radiology services in Australia.
In 2010, the College commenced work on a suite of projects that will continue and extend the successful projects completed by the College's Quality Use of Diagnostic Imaging (QUDI) Program in 2009. These projects have been funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing under the diagnostic imaging quality projects program.
QUDI Program - Current Projects

Six implementation projects are currently underway, funded through an Australian government grant.
CT Dose Optimisation Projects

The overarching goal is to address the variation in dose delivered to patients undergoing CT examinations.
Written Report Guidelines

The written radiology report is the dominant means by which radiologists communicate their interpretation of imaging findings.
Past Projects

The past QUDI Program (2005-2008) had four streams of projects that focused on the needs of the key groups of stakeholders involved in diagnostic imaging in Australia.
