The RANZCR Standards of Practice for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology provide a structured suite of standards to support specialist practice in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology in Australia and New Zealand.
The standards document is aligned in structure to how diagnostic and interventional radiology are practiced, and includes quality management principles to support quality practice. While these standards are designed for Radiologists, they may be applied to all practice settings where diagnostic imaging is performed.
These Standards are the accreditation requirements underpinning the RANZCR/NATA Accreditation Program and inform the development of standards to underpin the Department of Health and Ageing’s Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme.
Please download a copy of the standards by clicking here.
Please note that you need to register for the College website and the Standards of Practice and Accreditation ‘role’, and be logged in to the website in order to access the Standards. This is available to College members and non-members alike, and is required only so that the College can readily communicate with recipients of the standards for advice on amendments or updates to the Standards.
