The MATEC is a high-level bi-national committee reporting to the Faculties of Clinical Radiology and Radiation Oncology Councils jointly. The Clinical Radiology Curriculum Assessment Committee (CRCAC) are seeking a consumer representative for a three-year term, commencing 1 January 2024 and concludes 31 December 2026.
CRCAC is an advisory committee to the Clinical Radiology Education and Training and is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Clinical Radiology Training Program Learning Outcomes. The development of teaching and learning experiences to assist clinical radiology trainees achieve the learning outcomes and work-based assessments, to measure trainee progress against the learning outcomes. Branch Education Officer (BEO) Tasmania The Branch Education Officer (BEO) monitors and supports the training program within their own Networks and liaises regularly with the Network Training Directors (NTDs) regarding any significant training issues. They Chair the Network Governance Committee of their Branch and have a broad understanding of and experience with the delivery of College education activities. The BEO acts as a conduit between the College, the trainees, the training departments, and the health authorities of the relevant jurisdictions and supports the accreditation process.
The BEO reports to the Clinical Radiology Education and Training Committee (CRETC). Expressions of interest are invited from Trainees to join the Clinical Radiology Trainee Committee in newly created co-opted roles to support the committee in providing a trainee perspective on key College bodies of work.
The Clinical Radiology Trainee Committee is responsible for ensuring that that the trainees’ perspectives, issues and priorities are represented at all key levels within the College. Please see the Terms of Reference for further information.
The Trainee Committee is currently seeking members to represent the trainees on the following committees as a casual vacancy until 31 December 2024:
Māori, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Executive Committee (MATEC) - supporting the professions to deliver more equitable health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and Māori people
Digital Health Committee - provides advice on the design and implementation of digital health solutions for clinical radiology services in Australia and New Zealand.
Safety, Quality and Standards Committee SQSC is responsible for providing advice on safety, quality, standards and associated matters relating to clinical radiology
ASM Management Committee - overseeing the management of the College’s Annual Scientific Meeting. Ideally this should be a trainee from Western Australia.

Actively participate in quarterly CRTC videoconferences, as well the meetings of your nominated College Committee, act as a conduit between College committees and the CRTC.

We are seeking Fellows to join the iRefer (Imaging Guidelines) Governance Committee. This is an exciting opportunity for members who are interested in imaging guidelines.
The aim of the iRefer (Imaging Guidelines) Governance Committee is to independently review and approve all adapted and new imaging guidelines to ensure the evidence base used is current, relevant and patient focused. They will also determine gaps in the guidelines where new guidelines may need to be developed. The Committee will also provide overview of the infrastructure to support the iRefer Imaging Guidelines.

As per RANZCR’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) the International Medical Graduate (IMG) committee is responsible for the assessment of IMGs for equivalency to RANZCR trained clinical radiologists and radiation oncologists.
Expressions of interest are invited from New Zealand Fellows in clinical radiology who have held FRANZCR for more than five (5) years to become IMG assessors as part of the NZ Vocational Education Advisory Board (VEAB). The VEAB is responsible for the assessment of IMGs to determine equivalency to RANZCR trained clinical radiologists.
Currently assessments are conducted online, one afternoon (approximately three hours) per month.
Eligibility Criteria
Clinical Radiologists, at least five (5) years in a vocational scope of practice, preferably FRANZCR.

The Breast Imaging Advisory Committee (BIAC) functions as an expert advisory committee to provide advice to the Safety, Quality and Standards Committee (SQSC) and the Faculty of Clinical Radiology on emerging quality, safety and standards of practice issues related to the provision of breast imaging in Australia and New Zealand.

This is an exciting opportunity for members who are interested in contributing to policy and consultation work relating to IR and INR and supporting the work of the Interventional Radiology Committee.
The Interventional Radiology and Interventional Neuroradiology Reference Group reports to the Interventional Radiology Committee (IRC), responsible for providing the Faculty of Clinical Radiology Council with advice and information on educational, professional and practice issues across all aspects of IR and INR. Expressions of interest are invited from Clinical Radiologists to join RANZCR’s Mammography Quality Assurance Program (MQAP) as a Clinical Image Reviewer to review submissions from sites joining and participating in the MQAP program.
MQAP provides quality assurance assessment for mammography sites. Participation is open to private medical imaging practices, and medical imaging departments of public and private hospitals.
Radiologists with a subspecialty interest in mammography and who participate in the mammography component of the RANZCR CPD program.
Clinical Image Reviewers will be requested to provide their availability for the year on commencing the position and subsequently on a yearly basis. They may be contacted throughout the year according to their availability to review MQAP submissions.
Each MQAP review will take approximately (30 minutes) to undertake.
Clinical Image Reviewers may continue working within the MQAP Program as long as their skills remain compliant with MQAP Program requirements.

The College has a branch in every state and territory in Australia except the Northern Territory, which is merged with the South Australian Branch. Each Branch is governed by a committee made up of at least five local Fellows and/or Life Members.
The Queensland Branch Committee is responsible for • Facilitate communication with and between members and develop opportunities for discussion and continuing professional development• Represent the professional, educational and political interests of clinical radiologists and radiation oncologists at all levels within the Branch• Provide a conduit of information to and from Branch members with the College Board via the elected Councillors.

The Musculoskeletal Group (MSK Group) meets with ACC four times a year. The purpose of the group is to form and strengthen an effective working relationship between ACC and RANZCR and allow discussion of strategic and operational matters involving musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging.
The MSK Group reports to the New Zealand Branch Committee.
