Post Fellowship
Once trainees have transitioned to Fellowship after successfully completing the training program, it is imperative that they continue to learn and develop knowledge, skills and practice.
This can be done in several ways:
- By pursuing ‘the Fellowship Experience’, an intense 1-2 year post immediately following the granting of fellowship, usually in capacity of researcher either overseas or locally.
- By pursuing a postgraduate degree (higher degree) in the form of a Masters and eventually a PhD.
- By engaging in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program – mandatory in both Australia and New Zealand.
