The College prioritises the wellbeing of trainees, understanding that a healthy workforce is integral to the quality of patient care and the sustainability of our professions.
The Trainee Liaison Officer (TLO) role supports trainees in both radiation oncology (RO) and clinical radiology (CR) training programs within Australia, Singapore & NZ.
Life in general can be stressful and provide many challenges. As a RANZCR trainee, sometimes the demands of the specialty training program can add to life's stresses. If this is happening to you or someone you know, the TLO is your college contact to help with issues and / or concerns.Practical and confidential support is provided in a safe and transparent manner. All metro, regional and rural trainees are eligible to access the TLO service.

Australia and Singapore TLO - Lisa GraysonLisa joined RANZCR from RANZCOG where she managed and supported subspeciality trainees over five years. She has a great appreciation of issues and concerns that trainees face and understands the college environment. This experience, along with a background in group facilitation and training. All of this will ensure Lisa is a valuable advocate for trainees. She acknowledges the need to re-engage with all RANZCR trainees and will provide a safe and confidential space to discuss issues or concerns. Lisa has two teenage children that keep her busy and is based in Melbourne.
New Zealand TLO - Jessica Downham Jess has recently relocated to Wellington and joins RANZCR after 11 years in the Australian Public Service, most recently the Department of Health and Aged Care. She has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and is able to facilitate meaningful discussions between a variety of people. She is excited to offer support and guidance for trainees and provide a welcoming and safe space for their issues and concerns to be heard. Jess enjoys outdoor activities and is looking forward to exploring more of what New Zealand has to offer.
