Radiation Oncology Expressions of Interest

The College is currently seeking the active involvement of its members for a number of positions. If you would like to contribute strategically to your professional organisation, now is the time to put yourself forward.

Radiation Oncology Education and Training Committee

The Radiation Oncology Education and Training Committee develops and oversees the educational content, assessments and accreditation mechanisms that ensure trainees can become competent radiation oncologists. It also has responsibility for assessing the suitability of candidates for Fellowship (including International Medical Graduates).

Chief of Training and Assessment, Radiation Oncology Education and Training Committee 

The Chief of Training and Assessment coordinates all aspects of training and assessment as part of the Radiation Oncology Training Program. The Chief of Training and Assessment is a member of the Radiation Oncology Educaton and Training Committee which meets approximately four times per year.

Deputy Chief Accreditation Officer, Radiation Oncology Education and Training Committee

The Role of the Deputy Chief Accreditation Officer is to support the Chief Accreditation Officer who is a key member of the Radiation and Oncology Education and Training Committee (ROETC).

Quality Improvement Committee

The Faculty of Radiation Oncology Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) promotes a quality-centred approach by providing strategic and policy advice and conceptual models to ensure ongoing improvement in patient care.

Medical Treatment Overseas Program Assessors

The College is seeking interest from radiation oncology fellows to contribute to the Federal Government's Medical Treatment Overseas Program (MTOP) which is supported by the College to provide medical advice when requested.

Radiation Oncology Research Committee

The Radiation Oncology Research Committee promotes the critical importance of research through development of research skills, development of strategic partnerships and administration of grants and awards.

Radiation Oncology Economics and Workforce Committee 


The Radiation Oncology Economics and Workforce Committee aims to promote and facilitate the Faculty of Radiation Oncology Council's advocacy work, to ensure the availability of physical and human resources.
